Music in Carroll is a family affair. Grandparents and parents play alongside their children, alumni of the All Strings Attached program travel home from college to perform in the group’s concerts, and 15 professional musicians drive in from up to 200 miles away to participate. Within each symphonic section, adult members mentor high school-age students, high schoolers mentor intermediate-age students, and these students mentor the youngest members of the studio, who may begin to participate at the age of four or five.
